Hasn’t the weather been gorgeous this week?! No need to go on holiday when it’s so sunny and hot, right!
A trip to the Sussex coast to soak up the sun and summer feel wouldn’t be complete without a stroll on the pier and the obligatory ice cream.
Blush pink is the colour of summer, it shouts feminine, fun and preppy! I’ve always loved pink but the pink that is on trend is soft and gentle, rather than bright and goes with pretty much anything- a huge “Yessss” for us girls.
My blush pink coat is from Zara and I fell in love with it the moment I saw it, not only does it have stylish panels and zip detailing on the pockets, but it has awesome contrasting binding in the lining, giving it an edgy vibe. Extra detailing like this ticks all the boxes. Zara you did good.
Going with my blush pink theme are my L.K. Bennett satin lace up espadrilles. These are easy to style and are super comfortable. I literally feel like I’m wearing slippers all day- such a rare thing. Summer shoes often require a bit of suffering for looking fabulous, however we all know our feet do not thank us; so trust me if you are in need of some out and about slippers these will not disappoint, and are worth every penny!
To keep this outfit chilled, I styled my jacket and shoes with a pair of black boyfriend jeans with a chunky silver belt, and a stripy open back top.
Enjoy the sun, eat an ice cream and stay fabulous!
