If a little pampering and relaxation is your cup of tea, the Dior institute at the Plaza Athénée, situated on Avenue Montaigne, is a must! I was lucky enough to experience this with my best friend.

The legendary hotel Plaza Athénée is the epitome of luxury with fashionably lavish interior and within sits the beautiful Dior institute. This is one of the best spas I have visited, it was truly magical.

This whole experience began with cocktails on the terrace, looking out onto Avenue Montaigne.

Having booked our appointments with Aurore and Héléne prior to travelling, we were warmly welcomed on our arrival.

The complete treatment is a sensory experience, which began from the moment we arrived and were shown to the changing areas. There were soft white dressing gowns and slippers waiting for us, with a sauna and steam room for us to enjoy prior to our treatment. The steam room had many little lights inside which created that fairytale feel.

The treatment we’d selected was the cleansing and balancing treatment using Dior products, where they paid close attention to my specific needs and provided a personalised, luxury experience, which began with a sculpting massage before the cleansing facial. Steam was applied which clears the impurities and restores the suppleness and balance followed by exfoliation, a mask and moisturiser, giving a glow and fresh complexion to my skin. My skin looked and felt amazing!

When our treatment was complete our makeup was re-applied very naturally, enhancing our glowing skin!

We were then shown to relaxation rooms where we were offered herbal teas and light snacks. This whole experience is not cheap but well worth doing as it is exceptional.
