Monochrome

Black and white never dates, it always looks stylish. I realised that I actually do wear a lot of black and white however I nearly always style it with a bright coloured coat.

If you are wearing just black and white it’s a great idea to wear some sort of pattern and a pop of colour.

Talking about pattern, I love the added embroidery and scalloped hem on the bottom of my top! It gives it that something extra!

Personally I love scarfs and think they are a fabulous way to pull an outfit together and a great way to be brave with strong patterns and colours. A great way to style a scarf is to add it to the handles of your handbag, as I have done here (I am sure you’ll see this on many other posts) or wrap it around your hair or a ponytail. Investing in scarfs is worthwhile as you keep them for years and they can easily transform an outfit.

Although my outfit is monochrome, I have added texture by choosing a boucle Zara jacket and subtle snakeskin patterned sandals.

All you need now is a smile!

What I’m wearing: Jacket and top by Zara, jeans by Jack Wills, shoes by Topshop, scarf by Salvatore Ferragamo, bag by Givenchy
